Upcoming change to Learn SaaS automatic archives in early 2023
Announcement —
Nov 17, 2022
Article #: 000077093
—To improve performance, archive packages created automatically for individual courses in Learn SaaS will be retained for 30 days. When a course has no activity for 30 days, all backups are deleted automatically. Administrators shouldn’t rely on the automatic archive process to retrieve data older than 30 days. As before, storage used by these course archive packages will not be part of the client storage utilization count. We continue to encourage administrators to make backups of all courses after the end of a term and to store those in external storage to comply with local policy and law regarding data retention. When a course is deleted, it will continue to be archived; this behavior is unchanged at this time.
