Some non-functional cloud storage tool links from the old version of the Cloud storage integration are still shown in the Ultra base navigation tools; when users try to access to the tool links, nothing happens. This behavior is only affecting Onedrive tool links.

Blackboard Learn has upgraded the Cloud Storage integration tools; when trying to access to the institutional cloud storage tool from the System Administrator page (System Administrator page > Integrations > Institution Cloud Storage), the following message will be shown:





Therefore, the old cloud storage tools should not be shown neither in the Ultra Base Navigation pane, nor in the Ultra courses' left-hand side menu

1. Log in to Blackboard Learn as Administrator
2. Go to System Administrator page > Integrations > Building Blocks > Cloud Storage Integration
3. Click on the "Chevron" button (˅), then, select Settings
4. Set the tool availability to Off
5. Go to Tools (Ultra base navigation) > Cloud Applications ; note that the Onedrive tool link is still present
6. Click on "Connect Account"
7. Go to System Administrator page > Courses > Courses, and search for an Ultra course or create a new one
8. Note that a Onedrive tool link is present in the left-hand side panel, however, the link does not work

Observed Behavior

Cloud storage tool links are available despite of the Cloud Storage building block has been disabled. Nothing happens when clicking on the tool links.


Expected Behavior

Cloud storage tool links should not be available when the Cloud Storage building block has been disabled.
