Please be advised that we will be rolling out an update to our Registration & Management (Genius) clients currently utilizing the AutoSignOn Building Block method for Single Sign-On between Registration & Management and Blackboard Learn. In preparation for the deprecation of Building Blocks at the end of the year, the plan is to replace the AutoSignOn Building Block with the native SAML2 authentication feature in Learn.

An email was sent to Learn System Administrators at each affected account with next steps (subject line “Important: Change to Registration & Management SSO for Blackboard Learn”). The system will remain online and operational during the update. In most cases, these updates will be transparent.
