Description:
The Overall Grade column has a row in the Gradebook Grid view that counts how many items are being considered in the grade calculation. However, the item count is incorrectly summing up items that are excluded from the calculation when an entire category is excluded.
The only way to reflect the correct item count is to exclude item by item instead of excluding an entire category.
Steps to Repeat:
- Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
- Create an Ultra View Course and any amount/type of content items that are graded
- Go to Gradebook > Set up the Overall Grade > Set it up
- Choose either Points or Weighted > Next
- Look for a category that has at least 1 item
- Click the forbidden symbol next to the category name to exclude the entire category > Save
- Go back to Gradebook > Grid view
Observed Behavior:
The item count in the Overall Grade column inaccurately counts the items that belong to the category that has been excluded from the grade calculation.
Expected Behavior:The item count in the Overall Grade column shows accurately how many items are currently considered in the grade calculation.
