Description:
When instructors access the Ultra gradebook, the list view for gradable items shows the "Grading Status" as all graded when they have all been graded and posted. Instructors expect the status to be 'Complete' but it is not.
If an unenrolled administrator goes into the Gradebook to the same assignment it shows as "Complete".
Steps to Repeat:
- Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an instructor
- Navigate to an Ultra Course
- Ensure at least two students and an instructor are enrolled in the course. Everyone needs to be enabled and available
- Create and deploy an assignment
- The students can submit the assignment or not
- As the instructor grade all users for the assignment. It does not matter if it is submitted, a normal grade, or an override grade, just give each user a grade for the assignment and post the grades.
- Go to the List View for Gradable Items tab in the gradebook and observe the Grading Status for the assignment.
Observed Behavior: The Grading Status Column shows the assignment as Complete
- As an instructor, navigate to the roster > Click the three dots menu for any of the students > Select Member information > Uncheck the box for the option 'Allow Access To This Course' and Save the setting.
- Navigate back to the List View for Gradable Items tab in the Gradebook and observe the Grading Status for the assignment.
Observed Behavior: The Grading Status shows as All Graded and 'Not Complete'. If an unenrolled administrator goes into the Gradebook to the same assignment it shows as "Complete".
Expected Behavior: The Grading Status shows as 'Complete'.
