Description:
In Original Courses, students have access to test after the Display Until Date and Time has passed.
Steps to Repeat:
- Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
- Navigate to System Admin > Courses and create a new Original course
- Enroll 2 users as Students
- Click on the Content Section > Assessment > Test
- Under the test options, make available to students and Set a Display After and Set a Display Until
- Click the Test chevron button and select Adaptive Release and observe that it shows the dates selected
- Go back to the test and click on Edit
- Go to the Test Availability Exceptions section and click on Add User or Group: Select the student 1 and Submit
- Click on the calendar icon and Add a new time after the time set in Step 5 > Save the test
- Click the Test chevron button and select Adaptive Release
- Observed: Warning: this test has existing Availability Exception rule(s) with Date/Membership criteria that will be lost if you add new or edit existing rules with Date/Membership criteria.
- Log in as student 2 after the Display Date and Time in step 5
- Try to take the test
- Observed: Student can not see the test as the display after has passed.
- Log back in as an Instructor
- Click on the test chevron and select Adaptive Release: Advanced
- Click on Create Rule > Submit > Go back to the Course Content page
- Log in as Student 2 and go to the test
Observed Behavior:
The test is available to student 2 even though the Display After has passed.
Expected Behavior:
Student 2 should not see the test link as the Display Date and Time has passed.
