Group Message Email Not Delivered to Students

Description:

When the "Send an email copy to recipients" option is enabled for group messages, students in the groups do not receive the email.

Steps to Repeat:
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an instructor
  2. In an Ultra course, go to Groups and create a new group set
  3. Add students to one of the groups
  4. Return to the main Groups page
  5. Click on the group's ellipsis menu (...) and select Send message
  6. Compose a message, ensure Send an email copy to recipients is enabled
  7. Click Send

Observed Behavior:
No email is sent to the students.

 

Expected Behavior:
Each student in the group should receive an email of the message.
