Users Having the Facilitator Role Cannot Convert Folders Created in Original Courses

Description:

When a user with the Facilitator role attempts to convert folders created in Original Courses, they receive the following error: "User is not authorized to inspect course contents for conversion."

Steps to Repeat:
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
  2. Navigate to System Admin > Courses > Create a new Original Course > Create a new Content Area (folder)
  3. Create a new user with the Facilitator role and enroll it in the Original course 
  4. Go to Role Privileges and make sure all copy permissions are granted
  5. Create a new Ultra Course, enroll the user and access it
  6. Click on the ellipsis (...) and copy items
  7. Look for the Original Course to copy
  8. Access the course and try to open the recently created folder

 

Observed Behavior:

The following message is displayed:
"status":403,"message":"User is not authorized to inspect course contents for conversion.

Expected Behavior:
If the user is able to copy the entire course and also open default original folders to granular copy, the user should be able to open folders created in Original Courses.





Information:

This issue is not present for all the other roles, like Instructors and Course Builders.
