Audio and Video Feedback Playback Issue in Ultra

Description:

In Ultra view mode, students and instructors encounter a problem when trying to play back audio or video feedback provided by instructors on assignments. Instead of the feedback playing, the following error appears: "Uh-oh! Something went wrong. We recommend contacting your administrator about the issue."

Steps to Repeat:
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
  2. Create and access an Ultra course > Create an assignment
  3. Create two users, an instructor and a student > Enroll these users in the course 
  4. Log in as the student > Attempt the assignment 
  5. As the instructor, go to the Gradebook > Open the attempt
  6. Navigate to the feedback panel and create a recording feedback
  7. As the student open the assignment and go to Attempt feedback > Click on the recorded feedback 

 

Observed Behavior: 

The feedback recording does not play. The following message appears:

"Uh-oh! Something went wrong. We recommend contacting your administrator about the issue."

 

Expected Behavior: 

The feedback recording plays.


Cause:

It might be related to the video being first recorded on 3900.104.0 and the site later being upgraded to 3900.106.0.




Target Release:

SaaS-Fixed (v3900.108.0-rel.33 or higher)
