Failed Authentication Message for Safari/Chrome/Firefox Users

When the browser has third party cookies disabled the following message is displayed: Failed Authentication Message for Safari/Chrome/Firefox Users - code":"SecurityException","message":"Failed authentication". 


Cause:

This is a limitation identified in Learn, in the Partner Cloud framework. Message appears for customers when the browser has third party cookies disabled. When affected, clients are asked to follow one of the solutions provided below.

 

Resolution/Workaround:

Safari: Uncheck the "Prevent cross-site tracking" option in the Privacy tab within Safari Preferences. Please see the attached screenshot.
 
Chrome: Go to settings, Privacy & Security, Cookies and other site data, change the setting from Block third-party cookies, to one of the two options above it.
 
Firefox: Go to settings, Privacy & Security, set to Standard and make sure "Send websites a "Do Not Track" signal is set to "Only when Firefox is set to block known trackers"
