Article No.: 000078298
Product:
Learn SaaS
Release:
SaaS
Service Pack(s):

Description:
In Original Experience the option to set an adaptive release date on an item exists but in Ultra it does not, so an Original Course copied item with an adaptive release date will not work as the dates cannot be edited.
Steps to Repeat:
  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
  2. Create an Original Course and an Ultra Course
  3. Access the Original Course
  4. Create a Folder
  5. Inside the folder create an item and add text in the item
  6. On the item put an Adaptive Release date condition and for the display after and display until set the dates to the past
  7. Do the same to the folder that is set the date and time as in step 5
  8. Access the Ultra course
  9. Click on the 3 dots (located under the Student Preview tag) and select 'Copy Items'
  10. Copy the course from the Original course
  11. Go to the folder and notice that the Release Conditions are set
  12. Change them to be active, that is set the date and time to now
  13. Enter Student Preview or log in as a student
  14. The student can see the Folder and Item
  15. Click on to view the item

Observed Behavior:
The item is blank, and no text is shown.

Expected Behavior:
To be able to see the text as the adaptive release date and time have changed to now.

Target Release:

SaaS - Fixed (v3900.95.0-rel.52 or higher)
