Course Graders Cannot View or Grade LTI 1.3 Gradable Content Using Adaptive Release and Group Membership

Descripción: Users with the Grader/Marker role cannot view or grade attempts associated to LTI 1.3 Gradable Content items. They are seeing the following error message:

"Access Denied. Either you are not logged in or you do not have the appropriate privileges to perform this action"

Pasos para repetir:

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as an Administrator
  2. Go to the System Administrator page > Courses > Courses > Create Course > New
  3. Create an Original view course
  4. Enable "Quick Enroll" in the course
  5. Go to Course Menu > Control Panel > Users and Groups > Users
  6. Enroll at least four users with the Student role and enroll one user with the Grader/Marker role
  7. Go to Course Menu > Control Panel > Users and Groups > Groups
  8. Create two Groups (Manual Enrollment) and add two students per group
  9. Go to a Course Content area in the course
  10. Add an LTI 1.3 gradable content item (e.g. Turnitin: https://help.turnitin.com/feedback-studio/blackboard/lti/instructor/creating-and-managing-assignment/creating-an-assignment.htm)
  11. Click on the "Chevron" button located on the Right-Hand side of the LTI 1.3 content item and Select Adaptive Release Adaptive Release.PNG
  12. Add the two groups created in step 8 from the Membership section Membership rule - Adaptive Release.PNG
  13. Log in to Blackboard Learn using one of the "Student" accounts
  14. Go to the course created in Step 3
  15. Submit an attempt for the LTI 1.3 gradable content item (Step 10)
  16. Log in to Blackboard Learn using the "Grader" account (Step 6)
  17. Go to the course created in Step 3
  18. Go to Course Menu > Control Panel > Grade Center > Full Grade Center
  19. Search for the attempt submitted as a student in step 15 and try to grade it

Observed Behavior:

Users with the Grader role cannot view the attempt; an error message (Access denied) is shown

Expected Behavior:

Users with the Grader role should be able to view the attempt

Resolución/Solución alternativa:

Add the users with the Grader/Marker role to the Adaptive Release membership rule:
