Paquetes de servicio: 3900.116.0, 3900.118.0, 3900.121.0

Descripción:

In Bb Annotate with the release of version 3900.114, when users attempt to add comments to the body of an attached document in a submission, the cursor does not automatically focus to add text. So, the user needs to manually click on the text box in the comment.

Pasos para repetir:

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
  2. In a new or existing course, create a new assignment or test.

Note: Question types are irrelevant as long as comments are enabled, as this can be replicated in any section that allows users to attach documents.

  1. Submit the assignment, attach a document (Docx, PDF)
  2. As the instructor for the course, access the submission created in step 2
  3. Open the attached document > Click on the Comment option and add a comment anywhere in the document

Observed Behavior:
The comment box is created to the right of the document view, but the cursor is not automatically focused in the comment box. Manual clicking into the box is required to start submitting a comment.

Expected Behavior:

The comment box is created to the right of the document view, the cursor is automatically set inside the comment box.
