Descripción: The Gradebook in an ULTRA Course is displaying a red message for gradable items that are not late after changing the due date, and this red message is confusing students
Pasos para repetir:
- Login to Blackboard SaaS as an Administrator
- Go to System Admin > Courses > Create Course > New
- Create an Ultra Course
- Access the Course
- Enroll Students into the course
- Create an Assignment with the following settings:
- Due Date (+30 minutes from now)
- Unlimited Attempt
- Timer = 60 minutes which is the default value
- As a Student user, access the course and submit the assignment
- As an Instructor, change the assignment's due date to an earlier date/time
- Note a pop up appears with the message:
The item is now past due. Zeros will be assigned to past due work. Change the date?
- As the Student user, access the Gradebook
- Note the attempt shows with this message in red color:
1 attempt submitted (1 Late)
- As an Instructor, change the assignment's due date to the original or future date/time
1 attempt submitted (0 Late)
- As the Student user, access the Gradebook
Observed Behavior:
The Status for the attempt is displaying in red color with the following message
1 attempt submitted (0 Late)
Expected Behavior:
The Status for the attempt will show 1 attempt submitted in the normal dark gray color since the submit date/time is less than the due date/time
Información: After a review by Development, Product Management and Support it has been decided this item should be closed as "Will Not Fix." The reason is that after re-testing in a later version of Learn: the behaviour cannot be reproduced.
