Course Quotas Settings for Courses Change After Creation

Descripción: The course quota for already created courses is changing when the default settings are reverted. 

Pasos para repetir:

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn Ultra Experience as an administrator
  2. Go to Course Settings > Select 'Default course size limits'
  3. Select 'Maximum Course disk size':  Limited 1024 MB
  4. Select 'Send Quota Notifications': Yes, when Course exceeds 950 MB
  5. Select 'Maximum Course Package Size': Limited 1024 MB
  6. Click on Submit
  7. Create the course using SIS Integration > Data Integration > Student Information System Integrations > Integration name: Ultra Build Out Courses - Testing
  8. Click on the chevron > Upload feed file 'File 1' > Data type 'Course' > Submit
  9. Access the course > Chevron > Quotas
  10. Verify the quotas setting is correct
  11. Go back to Course Settings > Default Course Size Limits > Select Maximum Course disk size to Unlimited > Submit
  12. Upload a second file for creating another course > Data Integration > Student Information System Integrations > Integration name: Ultra Build Out Courses - Testing
  13. Click on chevron > select Upload feed file 'File 2' > Data type 'Course' > Submit
  14. Access the newly created course > Chevron > Quotas
  15. Verify the quotas setting change to 'Allow unlimited size for this course' as expected
  16. Access the previous created course > Chevron > Quotas


Observed Behavior:
The course quota for already created courses is changing when the default settings are reverted, which is not expected.


Expected Behavior:
When a course quota is set in Blackboard Learn, it should remain the same even if the default settings are later changed.
