Descripción: In Original courses, when the email tool is set to unavailable, new posts made to discussion forums on mobile devices do not send email alerts to forum subscribers.

Pasos para repetir:

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn as an administrator
  2. Access an Original course
  3. Enroll into the course as an instructor
  4. Navigate to Control Panel > Customization > Tool Availability
  5. Set the Email tool to unavailable
  6. Go to Discussions and create a forum
  7. Access the forum and click on Subscribe
  8. Log in as a student on Blackboard App (using a mobile device)
  9. Access the discussion forum in the course
  10. Click on Create Thread
  11. Enter the Subject and Message
  12. Click on Submit

Observed Behavior:
The instructor does not receive an email alert about the new forum post

Expected Behavior:
The instructor should receive an email alert about the new forum post
