Introducción: When pasted into the VTBE, the bullet points from formatted text may be superimposed over the radio buttons for Multiple Choice question type causing the incorrect appearance that the radio button or buttons have been 'preselected' and cannot be changed.
This may cause the seemingly spurious message "Question is unanswered" to appear because, in fact, no answer was given.
Students may report
Funcionalidad: When materials are copy-and-pasted, CSS and HTML may be pasted into the VTBE erroneously.
By coincidence, the radio button and the bullet point may collide and the bullet point appears "superimposed" on the radio button which causes the false appearance that the button or buttons have been selected.
This does not occur when the bulleted list is created in the VTBE by pressing the bulleted list button. It occurs only when particular HTML and CSS from an external source is pasted.
To avert accidental pasting of HTML or formatted text, first paste the text into a simple text editor such as Note Pad, then re-copy and paste it. Or, select all the text in the VTBE and choose the "clear formatting" button
